Nordica Inventory Planner by Variegata Nordica · Updated 1 November 2026
Who we are
Nordica Inventory Planner is a Shopify app made by Variegata Nordica (Mallory Berthomé) that forecasts a store’s stock, suggests what to reorder and makes purchase orders. Questions about this policy or your data: hello@nordica-apps.com.
What the app stores
- Your store’s address and Shopify access, so the app can open in your Shopify admin.
- Your products and stock: names, variants, SKUs, barcodes, vendors, photo links and how many are in stock per location.
- Units sold per product and day, kept two years. Orders are read only for this: no customer, no address, no price is stored.
- What you enter: supplier emails, lead times and notes, your lists and purchase orders, and what you received.
- Messages you send with “Contact support” or “Suggest an improvement”, and the email address if you add one.
- Technical error reports: your store’s address, the page and the error, so problems can be fixed.
The app stores no customer data. It never emails your suppliers: purchase orders are downloaded or sent by you from your own mail app.
Who processes the data
Cloudflare hosts the app and its database (in the EU and elsewhere, under Cloudflare’s data processing terms). Shopify provides the store data and handles billing. Nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
What the app changes in your store
Only stock you receive: when you press Received on a purchase order, the stock goes up in Shopify, logged as “Received” with the order’s number. Undo takes exactly that back off. Nothing else is written to your store, so nothing is left behind when you uninstall.
How long it is kept
While the app is installed. When you uninstall, your sign-in data is deleted at once and the nightly read stops; 48 hours later, when Shopify asks for the store’s data to be erased, everything is deleted.
